Administrative Assistant / Receptionist required

An opportunity has arisen for a pro-active, energetic and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant / Receptionist to join this firm of solicitors in Orpington, Kent.

The successful candidate will play an important part in ensuring that an effective, friendly and efficient service is provided to both clients and colleagues alike, from being first point of contact for clients visiting the office, to shopping for supplies.

The role includes providing support to the Admin Supervisor and Office Manager as required, together with regular liaison with all levels of staff within the company. You must be confident and able to deal with potentially difficult situations whilst remaining calm and sensitive to the needs of others. You must also be able to prioritise your workload and have excellent organisational skills due the admin role being very varied, with task requests coming from all areas of the firm. Basic domestic skills and a willingness to undertake ad hoc practical tasks which arise will be an advantage. Experience of working in a similar position is desirable. Some lifting will be required.
