 Melanie Dunton – Partner & Head of Family Team
Melanie trained in Exeter and qualified as a solicitor in 1985. She joined Thomas Dunton in 1986. In addition to working as a solicitor, Melanie is also a Family Mediator and Collaborative Lawyer. Melanie specialises in family finance and pensions. Melanie is a member of Resolution and is on the Law Society’s Family Law Panel. |
 Tessa Bengo – Partner
Tessa qualified as a solicitor in 1990 and joined Thomas Dunton in 1998, specialicing in children, divorce/separation and finances. She is a member of the Law Society Children Panel. |
Linda Charman – Solicitor
Since 1987 a general practitioner, partner and more recently a consultant in Central Bromley dealing with a broad range of legal issues including family, residential conveyancing and wills and probate. She is now part of our private client team. |
Margaret Hendry – Solicitor
Margaret qualified in 1980, joining Thomas Dunton in 2002.She has been a member of the Law Society Family Panel since 1999, and has been a member of and accredited specialist of Resolution since 2002, with particular specialism in the areas of advanced financial provision and private children law.
She was appointed a part time Chairman of the Tribunals Service (formerly the Appeals Service) in 2000, hearing social security tribunals about one day each week. |
 Adrienne Ryan – Solicitor
Adrienne qualified as a Solicitor in 2000 having studied law in Swansea and Cardiff and completing her training in Kent. Adrienne joined Thomas Dunton in 2005, specialising in divorce/separation, finances, children and domestic violence work. She is a member of Resolution and has been accredited by Resolution as a Specialist Family Lawyer in the areas of Advanced Financial Provision and Domestic Abuse. Adrienne regularly provides free advice at the Bromley Domestic Violence One Stop Shop and is a speaker at Domestic Violence training days for professionals working with children and families. |
