Melanie Dunton – Partner & Head of Family Team (Family Mediation)

Melanie trained in Exeter and qualified as a solicitor in 1985. She joined Thomas Dunton in 1986. In addition to working as a solicitor, Melanie is also a Family Mediator and Collaborative Lawyer. Melanie specialises in family finance and pensions. Melanie is a member of Resolution and is on the Law Society’s Family Law Panel.

Vernon Hadida – Partner & Head of Dispute Resolution Team (Civil Mediation)

After a successful career in engineering, Vernon trained as a Solicitor in the City of London. He qualified in 1991 and joined Thomas Dunton in 1992.

Through the Court and through mediation, Vernon is experienced in the resolution of a wide range of commercial disputes, as well as those involving employment, personal injury, property and debt.

He is a CEDR Accredited Mediator and a Chartered Physicist.

Vernon is a member of the Association of Personal Injury Lawyers, The Law Society Civil Justice Section, The Law Society Law Management section and the Society for Computers & Law.
