The ‘no-fault’ divorce legislation has been backed by MPs in the House of Commons in a vote that saw 231 votes to 16. The Divorce, Dissolution and Separation Bill was debated at its second reading, after it had been approved by the House of Lords in March. The legislation will allow couples to divorce without proportioning blame and is seen as many as positive development.
