Unilever protects employee’s rights to different hairstyles

Unilever has signed a code that aims to end bias against people with hairstyles that are associated with their racial, ethnic and cultural identities. These include dreadlocks and afros. The organisation, Halo, who wrote the code found that societal pressure around certain hairstyles were deemed unprofessional.
