The parents of a child with Down’s Syndrome have won their case against the NHS after a screening failed to identify that their son had the condition. The case was bought against the Royal Berkshire NHS foundation. Speaking after the judgement their lawyer said that the motivation was to highlight the trust’s culpability and was not a reflection of their love for their child.
