A stage manager at the Royal Opera House in London, is seeking £200,000 in compensation after a half-tonne stage curtain nearly crushed him. Since the incident, Gary Crofts claims that he has suffered anxiety and depression. He was also previously involved in an accident two years earlier which resulted in ‘significant physical and psychiatric injury’ according to his legal team. The Royal Opera House deny liability.
